Introduction

Webamoeba is my personal website, who am I? A certain amount of anonymity is a good thing, so I'll let you ponder on that one. More importantly, what can you find on this website?! Well an asortment of things, but this site is primarily dedicated to WATS, Predictive Text, and Joomla! (yes, that's Joomla! with an exclamation mark... something to do with marketing, or so we are told).

Joomla! is an open source PHP MySQL CMS. I have been using Joomla! for a number years (back when it was still Mambo). Joomla! has won numerous high profile awards and has become one of the open source Content Management Systems of choice. The latest edition, 1.5, has had a total rebuild and the new framework has been quickly adopted by the Joomla! community. What more do you need to know?
