A new version of WATS is available, 3.0.5 (12/12/2009)

The new version of the Webamoeba Ticket System addresses a number of issues. Due to the nature of the changes it is highly recomended that you backup your database before upgrading to this version.

• Resolved issues in the backend when dealing with special characters
• Added ability to define notification email addresses on a per category basis
• Added Romanian Translation
• Added Danish Translation

The mail notification plugin has also been updated, although the previous version will still work with the updated component notification email address defined on a per category basis will not be used until you upgrade both the component and the mail notification plugin.

The new version of the Webamoeba Ticket System addresses a number of issues. Due to the nature of the changes it is highly recomended that you backup your database before upgrading to this version.

• Resolved time zone problem
• Increased size of ticket name field
• Added Norweigan Translation
• Updated Spanish Translation

The mail notification plugin has also been updated, although the previous version will still work with the updated component dates will not be rendered correctly in emails until you upgrade the plugin.

A new version of WATS is available, 3.0.3 (05/08/2009)

The new version of the Webamoeba Ticket System resolves an installation issue that new users were expereincing with the system.

Note that the version of the email notification plugin has not changed.

A new version of WATS is available, 3.0.2 (29/07/2009)

The following changes have been applied to the new version:

• Added more PHPdocs to the WEmailView class
• Hide empty categories and order categories alphabetically
• Added Serbian language files (submitted by Ivica Petrovic)
• Resolved bug with IE7 that prevents scripts from working.
• Updated Swedish Language File (thanks Joel!)
• Updated first and last post date and time display in admin ticket list
• Corrected missing values when dealing with groups of users
• Resolved bug

Note that categories that do not ocntain any visible tickets will no longer be dispayed on the main WATS page. They will still appear in the drop down menu.

The mail notification plugin has also been updated, however the previous versions of the plugin will still work with the updated component.

Stable 2.0.9 released (13/07/2009)

If you are still using Joomla! 1.0.x you should upgrade your version of WATS as soon as possible to version 2.0.9. This version of WATS includes some important security patches. You may also want to consider upgrading to Joomla! 1.5 because WATS 3.0.x is compatiable with Joomla! 1.5.

A new version of WATS is available, 3.0.1 (23/06/2009)

Continuing on from the Release Candidate version 3.0.0 this updated version of the Webamoeba Ticket System includes some important bug fixes and some additional languages. Make sure that you update the component and the mail notification plugin, now version 1.0.1.

A new version of WATS is available, 3.0.0 (31/03/2009)

Today the first ever Joomla! 1.5 native version of the Webamoeba Ticket System was launched. Version 3.0.0 is a Release Candidate, this means that the component has already undergone Beta testing and that the released component is expected to be stable.

The documentation has not been updated to reflect the changes. However much of the documentation still applies and it should continue to be used as a guide.

Stable 2.0.8 released (20/02/2009)

You should upgrade as soon as possible to the latest version because 2.0.8 resolves some important security issues!

EXCITING NEW STUFF!! (01/04/2007)

As you might be aware, Joomla! recently launched the official joomlacode.org website. The site was setup in response to the decreasing performance of the old forge. WATS has now moved it's code base to the new joomlacode.org website! (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/wats/)

I was recently contacted by a user of WATS who has kindly donated some code they have written. You can download a copy of their search bot and install it on your Joomla! site. The bot, if published, integrates seamlessly with the normal search facility, allowing you to search your Joomla! tickets for the first time!

And just to finish off, a new version of WATS is available, 2.0.7, the following changes have been made.

* altered navigation block
+ Added Czech language
+ Added Russian language

Stable 1.1.2 released (23/01/2006)

Carrying on the small bug fixes to version 1.1, this release fixes notification email problems and editing users in the backend. Hopefully ;)

If you are running WATS Stable 1.1 or 1.1.1 -> download the relevant upgrade zip file, and follow the readme.txt instructions.

Stable 1.1.1 Released (15/01/2006)

This new version of the WebAmoeba Ticket System solves some small bugs.

* Resolved BBCode with attributes error
* Resolved fail to post new ticket with HTML special characters
* Changed uncommented code that was supposed to be commented. stops error in some older versions of MySQL
